    Essaouira is a city located in western Morocco, 200km north of Agadir. Whether you are into sport or culture, you will certainly be seduced.

    Its Medina, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is calm during the day and comes alive in the evening. Take the time to stroll between the markets, the shops and the terraces of restaurants and cafés. The atmosphere there is always different. Let yourself be surprised at every street corner by a local curiosity: an artist's studio, a carpet merchant, spices or plants with a thousand virtues...

    Witness the return of the fishermen to the port and taste a freshly caught fish at the foot of the ramparts.

    After your sessions on the water, discover the dunes and the forest on camelback or on horseback.

    Awaken your senses with a yoga class on the beach or on a rooftop.

    While waiting for the sunset, you may be tempted by a moment of relaxation in a hammam, accompanied by a mint tea and a pastry!

        PASSEPORT / VISA :

        To enter Morocco, you must present a passport, the validity of which expires more than three months after the stay.

        HEALTH: No vaccination is compulsory. Be careful, the water is not always drinkable, prefer bottles.

        In Essaouira, to get around the city, taxis cost only 7 dirhams (0.70 euro cents).

        If you want to explore the hinterland, car rental is around 25 euros/day for a sedan. We can reserve a car for you during your stay.

        Local currency: The currency of Morocco is the dirham. The exchange rate in 2021 is €1 for 10.72 dirhams. Remember to divide everything by 10.

        Tickets are 20 DH, 50 DH, 100 DH and 200 DH. The coins are 0.10 DH, 0.20 DH, 0.50 DH, 1 DH, 2 DH, 5 DH and 10 DH.

        Change my euros into dirhams: you can change your currency at the airport (not recommended because the exchange rate is low) or in city exchange offices.

        Cash withdrawal: VISA and Mastercard are widely accepted in the Kingdom of Morocco. You can withdraw from any ATM in the country. (fees to be checked with your bank before departure)
